Cold pressed juice might sound very fancy, but the fact is that my juicer makes the best juice I have ever tasted, as well as making me healthy at the same time. And we needs lots of vitamins and minerals in the wintertime to compensate for the lack of sunshine, boost our immune systems and simply (at least me) boost myself with healthy food as I mostly feel like eating warm food; pasta and such right now. Sooo… Drinking juice is the most natural and quickest way to increase your consumption of raw fruit and vegetables. 🙂
I just made one of my favourite winter- juices; orange ginger lemon. Very simple and very good, you can find the recipe below.
I am leaving to Frankfurt tomorrow, and I will need to get up so early I cannot even imagine it myself! Ah, but the trip will be fun and for a good reason (one of my intermediate goals to get to the big one). And we will have a mega long day, so to stay fit I will prepare two bottles of this orange juice and yoghurt to bring with me on our trip tomorrow for breakfast. Currently we are totally addicted to the greek yoghurt with honey. Yum!
1 lemon (good for conserving the juice)
2 cm of ginger
0.5 l of water
*all fruits pealed
