Hi! I had so much strawberries left over from Valentines, actually we never ate any, as they tasted a bit bitter and not sweet. ( I guess its not really the season for berries right now! ) so instead of throwing them in the bin I made a strawberry juice with lemon and orange. Strawberry juice always becomes creamy and smoothie-like so we had it for brunch on Sunday morning. It was even so warm we could sit outside in the sunshine.
I love strawberries, and apart from being tasty strawberries have many hidden powers;I think “the top three benefits of strawberries” are:
- A rich source of vitamin C (great for skin; sunburn, wrinkles and puffiness!!)
- Dietary fiber (eliminating toxins in your body and make the stomach stay healthy)
- Folic acids (this helps your body to produce new cells, super important!)
So eat as many strawberries you want, they are great!!
