I slept so well, because my partner came home last night (I sleep so badly while he is away …) So now I feel completely rested and happy after the weekend. And it’s Monday! I have three favorite days and where Monday really comes first because it feels so wonderful with a little fresh start every week (a bit like New Year’s Eve every seven days), Friday afternoon when you can relax a little and unwind with an after-work drink with friends and then Saturday morning when you get up early and get to sit by myself and drink coffee before everyone else wakes up. I could live week with only these three days! 😉
Mondays also provides new hope for a new workout week, I’m not exactly one of those who say “I will start on Monday,” a new week means just to repeat workout schedule from the previous week but improve the exercises a little and possibly adjust them to the season. It’s still cold outside and especially the morning, so I stay inside another week. I thought I’d tell you a two good exercises for the the stomach and back; The cradle and the plank. Very simple, but effective. In the cradle, you sit on your butt and stretch out your legs back and forth, I usually do three repetitions of ten times in each rep. In the plank you stand on the elbows, with your toes on the floor. Here I stand one minute at a time, with the same three repetitions.
I use my iPhone to clock time, 1 minute.
Phew… It get’s sweaty!
This gives me a boost for bikini season.
Now it’s time to start the week for real! Shower, breakfast and late job! Hug!
