MONDAY QUOTE
Good morning friends, Did you have a nice weekend? We did so many different things I can hardly remember. And I was hoping for a relaxed weekend, well that didn’t happen! On Friday we played guitar hero with our friends until midnight… and we spent a couple of hours at Ikea on Saturday to buy flower pots and flowers (believe it or not…but the Ikea flowers are good!). And of course I made a trip to the IKEA food store and loaded up with both Kalles, Sill and Dajm and Bilar (the latter are candies for the non-swedes). We watched the Chelsea football game in the evening also with friends in an Irish pub, although I’m not a big football fan I really liked it so I can even think about doing that again without protests. Enough about my events…

New day, and a new week; and it’s still so cold here. Normally I don’t look this cool, but today I decided for a bit more casual look today with jeans and leather jacket. I got to run now, have a lovely day and a great start of your week. Here is a Monday quote to adapt to;
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
- Charles R. Swindoll
I love this quote as it says so much about life and how we live, it’s about taking chances and react to them or not at all. It's your call. Have a fantastic start of your week!

HAT DAY

Hi! Did you have a good morning? Today its a hat-day. I’m shortly on my way our for lunch and I’ve decided to wear a hat today ( it happens maybe 1 time each year ). It’s cold in Zurich today and the summer weather seems to be long gone so the hat does not only cover for my bad hair day, it also keeps me warm in an elegant way. I bought this hat many years ago in Gothenburg. I had seen such a stylish woman who was wearing a similar one in a magazine and when I passed by the old-hat store in the old town of Gothenburg I couldn’t resist this hat from Stetson. Apart from sitting on my head once a year it decorates my mirror at home.

HAT DAY

Other than that, well, back to normal and a new week but a short one! And I’m about to start slimming down on both food and drinks as I have a detox trip coming up to Spain in two weeks. I have just received my pre-detox guide and it tells me to avoid coffee, alcohol and different types of food. I can’t wait to go there; 4 hours of yoga everyday and only drinking juices. Yummy. It’s relaxing for both body and soul. I wish you a fantastic start of this week!

HAT DAY

Wishing you a great start of this week!

LOST PASSPORTS & TERROR

Good morning darlings, I’m leaving to France in about an hour and just wanted to check in and say hi. I tried this outfit yesterday and thought I would wear it today. I totally adore these boots but I think It will be too warm so I better keep this outfit for the fall. I was running around last night to try to find our passports (not that we really need them, but in Switzerland they sometimes ask so better be on the safe side) and I just couldn’t understand where they were until I opened my Chanel bag and found them in the first pocket. I usually have this bag or my orange coloured wallet when I travel as the passports suits perfectly in the pockets and easy to pick up when needed.

I feel a bit nervous to travel today, not particularly to France but in general being at the airport and in larger crowds after all the terror that has been. I don't know how to think about these events yet and how to feel regarding travels and cities. One part of me just want to be home in my safe village on the countryside and another part of me is driven by revenge and the thought "I’m not going to show any terrorist that I’m scared, and I’m not going to allow anybody to control me to not travel". You see, I’m very split in this discussion. How do you feel?

In any case, I wish you all a fantastic easter and pray that no terror events will happen during easter. Hugs.

FAV. STORE FOR OFFICE CLOTHES
Good morning guys! Did you have a nice weekend?
I feel a little tired after an intense weekend, not only from traveling but also from speaking a lot with my friend Alisa during our girls-weekend, about life, career and other questions. It’s good to get out of my comfort zone sometimes and discuss topics that I normally don’t reflect so much over. Also getting encouraged and pushed forward on ideas and thoughts. Another topic that came up for discussion was “what to wear at work”?
MONDAY

We both love to wear dresses and skirts, but nicely suited for the office. We almost said it at the same time; that our favourite store for office clothes is CAROLL. I’m not sure if this shop exists in Scandinavia but at least you can find it in Zurich and most french towns. My suit jacket that I’m wearing below is from CAROLL and it’s the perfect spring jacket.

MONDAY
This week will be short as easter is coming up and we are going to south of France for the weekend with friends. I’m a bit scared of big cities right now from all the terror that seems to be luring all over Europe so we decided to stay in a small countryside village outside Nice. How do you feel about the terror attacks and do you avoid airports and larger cities and crowds?

FAVOURITE OUTFIT

Happy Friday to you! This outfit is my favourite outfit of the winter season, and today will be my last day wearing it before I put it away to make space for my spring and summer clothes. It’s all from Zara; the jacket, the skirt and the boots and underneath I have a simple white silk blouse. It will get warmer later today so I like to wear long sleeve tops underneath when I take of the jacket.

One of my favourite outfits

What else this Friday, well, we woke up to a chilly but sunny Friday morning. I stayed in bed a few extra minutes after the alarm rang, opened the window and let the sun and the air fill our bedroom. Friday mornings are simply the best ones with the last working day of the week and with the whole weekend in front of me. It’s said that expectations and the moment before something creates more happiness than the actual moment. Speaking of which, I’m excited for tomorrow when I’ll go on a girls-weekend with Alisa to Lugano, the Italian part of Switzerland. Zurich is very close to Italy and it’s only 2 hour drive to Lugano. All we going to do is to eat loads of pasta and gelato (ice-cream), sip endless of wines and shop until we drop and of course catch up and just talk girl-talk. Weekend get-aways are important not only to do with your partner, but also with your best friends to spend some quality time together. I promise I will post some mobile snaps on Sunday when we get back.
