SCONES

This morning started with warm, newly baked scones. Ahhh.... Sunday... We were too lazy to go to the bakery and I wanted to use the milk we had left in the fridge. I used a simple, normal recipe for scones and added pumpkin seeds, parmesan and raisins. Can I tell you these were one of the best scones I've ever made and my neighbour thought so too as I gave away one of the breads to her.  Recipe below.... Scones Sofia CM Interior Blog Zurich Switzerland

♡ 4 dl of wheat flour
♡ 2 teaspoons baking powder
♡ 2 tablespoons salt
♡ 50 g butter or margarine
♡ 2 dl milk / cream
♡ 1/2 dl russin
♡ 1/2 dl pumpkin seeds
♡ 1 dl grated parmesan

Preheat oven to 250 ° C.Blanda flour, baking powder, pumpkin seeds, Parmesan, raisins and salt in a bowl. Spread the melted butter or margarine into the flour mixture. Add milk and stir quickly to a dough. Make two lengths of the dough on a plate of baking paper. Bake in the middle of the oven for 10-12 minutes. For serving: Serve sconsen freshly baked with butter and marmalade.
