Hi darlings, The curtain fitting with Silvia went well and we agreed on some bended curtain rails to avoid the curtains hanging onto the windowpanes. Right now I just want to go to bed, but need to read a chapter in this super book; Fabric reference and learn some new things. Have a lovely evening!

NEW CURTAINS

Hi! I have a guest here in a few minutes; Silvia, our curtain super woman and professional interior designer will come over to measure our windows and fix new curtain rails. (our neighbours can see strait into our house.... ops!) Since we moved in this have simply had last prio, and mainly for the fact that we have tricky windows with large windowpanes and no place to put curtain rails except in the ceiling.

I hope that the curtains will improve both the acoustics (it is almost echo in the rooms) and also the insight from our neighbours. I like them but I still don’t want to share everything ;-) (ps. the very white room is one of ours).

I am thinking about linen, in two layers. But first we need rails and I am hoping we can agree on these rails attached to the ceiling, but apparently here in not so common in Switzerland. I have found some inspiration and ideas looking similar to our flat with stucco and large windows. For example Petra Turngardens curtains, thank you for the inspo Petra!

Luckily, I have a mom who's a tailor and home-textile expert so if I am lucky I will have my dream curtains made ;-) (mom I hope you read this...) <3

PEPPY CORN

Hey superstar! On Saturday night at Charlottes birthday party I met an amazing girl who started her own popcorn business.

Yep, that's right popcorn, and other healthy snacks. Apart from herself being a very inspiring and enthusiastic girl, she has built her business on her knowledge about vegan, bio and super-healthy food. That is just worth a gold medal. Check out her website here Peppy Corn  ...  I'm excited to try her snacks and I recommended her a few places in Zurich where she should sell; like Gärtneri or Hiltl, some vegetarian styled restaurants.

I love meeting like minded girls like her and we shared the same vision about marketing and PR, I beleive that today 80% of what a brand is built on is simply PR and marketing, you need to create a full package of a today's brands including communicating a strong lifestyle experience for your target group. There needs to be a person with a real life behind the brand, not just an empty campaign or a catching text. LATE NIGHT BLOGGING

Good evening,

I am wrapped in my favourite scarf (it is cold in our house..) in front of my lovely laptop answering some emails and writing my 30 birthday-gift guide as I thought I wanted to publish that this week (after the birthday party on Saturday of course). And eating chocolate! ;)

I will celebrate my 30th birthday in September and I've also started to think about my party plans? I am not a found of big parties, so eventually a dinner for my closest friends with a chef at here at home cooking a large menu or similar, I heard that is currently trending. Or go to a warmer place and invite everyone who wants to come, for a party in one of the beach clubs. Let's see, I still have 9 months to plan. Did you ever celebrate a special birthday, or what do you dream about doing?

We bought so much chocolate at the airport last weekend, phew! I swear I didn't eat all this chocolate on my own, (but almost!).

MY WORKOUT ROUTINES

Good morning! I am tapping myself on the shoulder when writing this; for 3 weeks now I woke up one hour before I usually wake up and went to my mat to workout. I have a super easy program I made myself that covers Monday to Friday with simple exercises for the core, arms and legs. It takes around 20 minutes and gives me a kickstart into the day.  Especially when I have had lots of travels over weekends and no possibility to go running.

I told you before that we used to have a gym in our old house, and that I refuse to buy any expensive gym membership so this is my solution to the cold weather not allowing me to be outside. Although, I was running outside last week but after coming back I was freezing for the whole afternoon and my head felt so strange even if I had a hat on, maybe it got completely frozen. At least it felt like!

I hear so much talk right now about summer bodies and body goals for 2017, but I try to ignore it all and simply just focus on the daily feeling and sustainable health (like walking and doing things I like) rather than pushing myself and stopping after a couple of weeks. A friend of mine suggested me to go to these indoor cycling classes or bootcamp gigs they do in Hardbucke, but I know myself that well that I could simply not get my body and mind all the way there after 18.00 and get screamed at to move. Oh no, what a nightmare. I am happy at home on my yoga mat, no matter if I dont have a “summer body” or not in 4 month, the goal is to have a happy and healthy body. The rest comes automatically. Hugs!
